5-Week Mums & Bubs Program
Suitable for pre and post natal participants
Dedicated to aiding new and expectant mothers in safely incorporating movement throughout their pregnancy journey and beyond, this program places a strong emphasis on supporting the body during and post-pregnancy. It specifically targets the deep abdominal and gluteal muscles to alleviate back discomfort while also effectively addressing the reduction and management of rectus diastasis (abdominal separation). Utilising pregnancy cushions, wedges, arcs, and balls, we provide essential back support, and appropriate weight distribution and assist in opening up the thoracic spine. Under the guidance of a pelvic floor specialist, we aim to help you feel supported in retraining the pelvic floor and managing incontinence. This comprehensive approach supports a gradual reintegration into movement and optimal well-being.
To ensure a personalized and attentive experience, each 5-week program accommodates a maximum of 5 participants. Feel free to attend solo, with a friend, or bring your little one along. Don’t forget to bring essentials like a pram or bassinet, toys, and other items your baby might need. We welcome breastfeeding in the studio and have a large bathroom for those who prefer more privacy. Each class lasts for 45 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes allocated for post-class mingling and packing up at the end of each session.
Please note that post-natal mothers must have their 6/8 week clearance from their GP or physiotherapist to participate.
